Which certification are you testing for?

Client comes in for stress management.  Half way through the session the client reveals they were the victim of childhood abuse. Is this abuse related to the current issue? Why or why not? How would you handle this situation? 

A new client nervously jokes that they are feeling anxious about beginning coaching. What does that tell you about the problem and what do you do? 

What is the type of change do you want to create in the world and who is your ideal client? Give your ideal client's Tree of Life at the beginning of the coaching relationship and their Tree at the end.

Ethics Agreement 

I certify that: 

I will uphold the ethical standards of my profession as well as those of an NLP/ HNLP practitioner. 

I will adhere to all local, state, and national laws that are directly related to the coaching and hypnosis fields 

I will practice only within my scope of skill and experience and will not take on clients who have serious psychiatric disorders unless I am licensed by my state to treat such individuals. 

I will obtain a medical referral when helping clients manage physical symptoms such as pain or psychological issues for which they are currently under the treatment for by a licensed professional. (unless I am the treating physician or an otherwise licensed professional) 

I will not diagnose clients 

I will not misrepresent myself, NLP, or HNLP in my marketing materials. 

I will maintain appropriate relationships with my clients. 

I will not engage in any sexual contact with clients. 

I will refer any suicidal clients to licensed professionals and support programs.
